Tonia has lived in La Marque for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Texas City High School class of ‘79 and retired from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2016 as the Assistant Director for Financial Aid and Veterans Benefits.
She actively serves the community through civic engagement, volunteering, community service initiatives that impact the elderly community and encourages youth to promote kindness to all.
It is my desire to represent the City positively during public meetings, in all aspects of social media, community engagement and civic duties; as it relates to residents, city staff, collaborations and partnerships.
